A case study exploring abstracted visuals and geometric pattern.
This print is a layered single-brushstroke painting overlaid with a grid to create a balance between the geometric and curvilinear, contrasting the spontaneity of brush strokes on the rigidness of the graph. The arrangement is a celebration of the frameworks of his Spring 2022 commission for High Society to create over 900 carefully handcrafted ceramic tiles for the facade of the Beverly Boulevard project, “THE CAKE.”
