This straight-leg, slightly cropped cotton trouser was heavily inspired by the beautiful plaid of which they are made. This cotton pleat front trouser features welt pockets at back with optional flap and an unfinished hem.

High gauge structure. Textural fiber construction. Bringing the character of the fiber to the forefront.
The gridded design of plaids, originally "tartans", originated in Scotland and dates back 3,000 years. The original tartans were woven into heavy travel cloaks, designed by local weavers throughout Scotland, whose colors were determined by what vegetable dyes were locally available. Eventually, these colors became symbolic of the clan for whom they were created.
